X-Press Feeders has announced the launch of a new intra-Asia service, the South China Java X-Press (SCJX)

X-Press Feeders has announced the launch of a new intra-Asia service, the South China Java X-Press (SCJX), aimed at strengthening connectivity between Central China and the Indonesian island of Java.

The service will be operated in partnership with Gold Star Line, which will market the route under the name South China Indonesia Express (SIX). OOCL will also participate in the service through a slot agreement under the CIS3 designation.

The rotation of the new service will include Shenzhen (Yantian), Xiamen and Nansha in China, followed by calls at Jakarta and Surabaya in Indonesia, before returning to Shenzhen.

The introduction of the SCJX service is expected to enhance regional trade flows by offering improved coverage and more efficient transit options between South China and key Indonesian ports.
