X-Press Feeders restructures regional services
X-Press Feeders has implemented a series of network adjustments across its short-sea services, refining port coverage and consolidating operations in key trade corridors, according to industry reports.
On the Gibraltar Straits–Portugal SPX3 service, the carrier has removed Algeciras and introduced Leixões as a replacement port. Under the revised rotation, the service now calls at Tangier, Leixões, Lisbon, and returns to Tangier, improving connectivity with Portugal.
In a separate development, X-Press Feeders has merged its Cagliari Tangier X-Press (CTX) service into the Tyrrhenian X-Press Northbound (TYX NB), streamlining operations in the Mediterranean region.
Following the integration, the updated TYX NB rotation includes Tangier, Algeciras, Vado Ligure, Civitavecchia, Cagliari, before returning to Tangier.
At the same time, the company has enhanced its Tyrrhenian X-Press Southbound (TYX SB) service by adding new port calls at Salerno and Milazzo. The revised TYX SB rotation now covers Algeciras, Tangier, Milazzo, Salerno, Naples, and returns to Algeciras.
These adjustments are aimed at optimizing service efficiency and strengthening regional connectivity, while offering customers more streamlined and flexible shipping solutions across the Mediterranean and adjacent Atlantic routes.
