Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) has announced new leadership appointments effective April 1, 2026, to strengthen operations and support growth.

Key appointments

Saikat Roychowdhury becomes Chief Operating Officer. He will oversee operations and audit functions.

H. V. Ramesh takes over as Head of Technical. He will lead innovation and service delivery.

Pavan Kumar Varma is appointed Management Representative and Head of QHSE.
