Hapag-Lloyd adjusts MSW service
Hapag-Lloyd has updated the rotation of its MSW service, which connects the Mediterranean with the West Coast of South America.

Hapag-Lloyd has updated the rotation of its MSW service, which connects the Mediterranean with the West Coast of South America. This strategic adjustment aims to optimize port coverage and service efficiency across the region.

Key rotation changes The most significant update involves the addition of a new direct port call and a shift in how another region is served:

  • New Direct Call:Callao (Peru) has been added to the MSW rotation.

  • Transition to Transhipment:Buenaventura (Colombia) has been removed from the direct rotation. Moving forward, Buenaventura will be served via transhipment rather than a direct call.

Revised port sequence The MSW service now follows this updated rotation, returning to its origin after covering key Mediterranean and Latin American hubs:

Vigo – Malaga – Valencia – Genoa – Leghorn – Barcelona – Caucedo – Cartagena – Callao – Paita – Posorja – Guayaquil – Cristobal (Manzanillo) – Moin – Cartagena – Vigo
